The other day my mate Eric Lundekrans (the man who does all those great Volvo YouTube videos) asked me if I knew anyone who could point him in the direction of a decent custom truck in the UK. "Tom Cunningham's your man" was Biglorryblog's reply as Tom is very close to the UK and European custom truck scene. Well anyroadup Eric called Tom who was his usual helpful self and sent him info on Jamie Davidson's FH16. The result? Eric was over the moon with it, not least as he says: "Since Terminator is my favorite killing robot from the future I was very happy!" And in return he sent me a couple of Tom's shots which naturally deserve an airing on BLB! And perfect background for it too!
Last one for tonight and it follows on from the recent comment on my post of the 'Blue Griffin' Scania Longline tractor which I spotted at the Elmia truck show last weekend. It asked if it had been built at the factory as it was based on the latest R Series. The answer is that it's just one of many fabulous custom trucks---like 'The Shark above---created for Scania and other customers by Swedish custom truck guru Svempas
